I graduated as an illustrator from Artez University of the Arts in July 2021. During the academic year 2019-2020 I participated in an Erasmus exchange programme at Camberwell College of Arts in London (UAL). During this period I started working with stop motion animation. Over the past two years I made four stop motion shorts: Immer Drinnen (2020), Supershoes (2020) Geese in the Violet evening sky (2021) and Motherhood (2022).
In my work I use different techniques, both digital and manual. My inspirations and interests include personal experiences, psychology, current themes and humor.
I have worked at several animation studios as a modelmaker and set dresser, including 5AM studios in Amsterdam and Beast animation in Mechelen. Currently I am pursuing a master's degree in animation at St. Joost School of Art & Design.
